Bath School of Motoring & Lanham's Driving School have been teaching to drive in & around Bath successfully for over 45 years and as we are now approaching the second decade of the 21st century we pride ourselves on keeping up with the times.

We have a close connection with a2om who are leading the field in Driver Training e-Learning Software and our Instructors are Drive IQ Pro Coaches.

Driver Training has changed immensely over the years, not only through the Driving Test but how Instructors teach by using Coaching skills to encourage a better understanding of the responsibilities of a driver and passing on these responsibilities at an early stage in the Learning to drive process.

The Directors Gary Payne & David Merrett together have over 40 years experience in all types of Driver Training and are still very much hands on with the day to day running of the business as well as still delivering Driver Training at all levels from Learners to Instructor training.

Bath School of Motoring was founded by Colin Payne in 1979 and Lanham's Driving School established in 1963. The two schools merged in 1993 and formed a Limited Company in 2003.

We are the oldest most established local school with our roots firmly established in Bath and over the last 15 years we have expanded & are now well established as Lanham's in Frome, Trowbridge & surrounding areas as well as still in Bath.
